Iowa’s “Healthiest State Initiative” will be promoting a state-wide walk on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. All 99 counties will be participating with the goal of 30-minute continuous walks. In Ringgold County, the event will be held at 6:00 PM at Judge Lewis Park in Mt. Ayr. Participants should meet at the shelter house south of the pool. Water and fruit will be provided. A group picture of our county’s participants will be taken for Ringgold County to have a chance at winning $1,000.
The Ringgold County event is sponsored by Ringgold County 4-H, Ringgold County Hospital Health and Wellness, and Ringgold County Wellness Coalition.
