Influenza season is upon us again. Ringgold County Public Health will provide vaccinations on the following dates:
- Thursday, October 3, 10:00 AM – noon and 1:00-4:00 PM at the Public Health Office
- Friday, October 4, 8:00 AM – noon at the Public Health Office
- Monday, October 7, 2:30 – 4:30 PM at Shopko in Mt. Ayr
- Thursday, October 10, 10:00 AM – noon and 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the Public Health Office
- Tuesday, October 15, 8:00 – 10:00 AM and 2:30 – 4:30 PM at the Public Health Office
- Thursday, October 17, 10:00 AM – noon and 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Public Health Office
There will be no charge for those with Medicare Part B. For those with a Medicare Advantage Plan or who wish to pay privately, there will be a charge of $25 for the vaccination. FluMist is available again this year to individuals age 2 through 49. The charge for FluMist will be $30. Both the shot and the mist can be billed to Blue Cross/Blue Shield or UnitedHealthcare if the individual has immunization coverage on their policy.
