Parents as Teachers is planning a parent meeting and activity night on Tuesday, June 10, at Judge Lewis Park in Mt. Ayr, beginning at 5:30. PAT Coordinator Robin McDonnell plans a short meeting to go over the annual paperwork for program participants followed by a light meal. Several activity stations will be set up for the families to enjoy after the meal. Activities will include a milk jug toss, a nature scavenger hunt, a bubble area, and a wet footprints area.
Children who attend will be given a free book, and parents who participate will be entered in a drawing for a door prize.
