Ringgold County Public Health and Parents as Teachers will be partnering with the Family Resource Center, Little Raider Preschool, and Head Start to have a Family Meal Night on December 3 beginning at 5:30 pm at the elementary school cafeteria.
Family style dining will be provided. Information will be shared about the importance of eating together as a family. Table conversation cards will be available, and families will be able to take a set home for their own use. Each sponsoring program will be providing an activity or information to share with those who attend. The meal will be prepared and served by the Transition Class at Mt. Ayr Community School.
Both adults and children are welcome to come participate. RSVPs will be required since space is limited. Please call the Public Health office at 641-464-0691 by 4:00 PM November 23 to share the number planning to attend.
