Grand View University will be hosting a gathering for survivors of suicide loss on Saturday, November 17, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM in the Student Center at 2811 East 14th Street in Des Moines.
People who have survived the loss of a loved one to suicide have found help by turning to others who have been through a similar experience. They understand the grief. And they understand the guilt, anger and confusion that can accompany the grief.
Thousands of survivors of suicide loss will gather together on this day of healing, support and empowerment. Admission is free and a lunch will be provided. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registering will help with lunch planning.
