A free class for men/dads will be held December 4 at 6:00 pm at the Ringgold County Senior Activity Center, 110 N. Taylor Street, in Mt. Ayr. The group will be guided by Robin McDonnell, RN and Parent Educator.
Topics that will be covered include:

- What it means to be a man
- Men’s health and feelings
- Communication in the father’s role
- Discipline
- Children’s growth
- Getting involved
- Working with mom and co-parenting
The Ringgold County Public Health family support program (formerly known as Parents as Teachers) is hosting this new group for men/dads only! Enrollment in the home visitation program is NOT required. Any father may attend (or if you plan to be a dad someday), regardless of the ages of your children.
